Caring for Fiends

When you first welcome your new Fiend home, it is very important that you leave your item in its sealed bag while you fully inspect it. If you see anything of concern that was not mentioned in the product listing, do not open the bag. Instead, contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you.

Proper care and upkeep of Fiends is important for ensuring their longevity.

Cleaning

All of our products are made with 100% platinum cure silicone and are washed and air-dried before being packed. However, we always recommend cleaning your Fiends when you first receive them, and before and after each use.

Your Fiend can be washed with a mild, unscented soap and water. There are also several silicone-safe cleaners designed specifically for adult toys. High-texture toys may require a little more attention when washing. Be sure to rinse thoroughly.

You can also boil your Fiend for an even more thorough cleaning. About 5 minutes in boiling water should have them adequately sanitized. If they come in contact with the bottom or side of the pot, or do not fully submerge, use a tool to gently rotate your Fiend while boiling. They will retain some heat, so handle carefully afterwards.

Near Clear is known to sometimes cloud during the boiling process, so please take this into consideration before boiling Fiends made from Near Clear.

Allow your Fiend to fully dry before storing. We highly recommend air-drying to account for every crack and crevice that could potentially trap moisture.

 Storage & Handling

Avoid sharp/pointed objects and excessive stretching or pulling.

Do not store your Fiends in contact with toys of other materials. It is best to store them separately—or with toys that are 100% platinum cure silicone only, at your own discretion. 

A breathable fabric bag of a soft material will help keep dust and lint off your Fiend. Always store in a safe location.

Only use water-based or silicone-safe lubricants. Silicone-based lubricants are not silicone-safe and should not be used with any of our 100% platinum cure silicone toys.
